Day Three Hundred and Thirty Two - Getting Ready

We are heading into the final count down of days now, and all of us are getting ready.  For the humans that means making sure all supplies are on hand, the puppy room is prepared, and the outside puppy run is also ready to go (although we do have a little bit of extra time for that).  So this weekend was spent with my parents here helping me get everything done.

The puppy room, aka Emmi's new bedroom, is for a rather spoiled princess, with a lovely bed with a canopy as well as her own private couch to retire to when she needs some personal space from those demanding kids LOL.

Here iis a photo of the room (just before the sheet was hung up on the window - with renovations in progress around here, I haven't had new curtains hung since the painting was done, so we needed a temporary measure):

My Mum was a little concerned that I am jinxing myself with so much blue!

In the corner of the room I have a table set up for weighing and taking notes on the puppies, as well as storage on top and underneath for the bits and pieces we need.  I think the supplies of vet bed on the floor will need to be tidied away once the pups are up and out of the whelping box!  But then, they won't be having their own private couch left in there for them to chew on either!

The gate to the room has a nice low spot for Emmi to come and go as she pleases:

Emmi's prepartions are more internal .... and while she is not as big as last time, she certainly has lost her young girl figure! Here she is showing off her more maternal figure:
