Day Three Hundred and Seventy One - Four Weeks Old

Four weeks is a bit of a huge milestone for the puppies.  Last night we started them on real food mushed up in formula, and tonight they graduated out of the whelping box into the puppy room!  They seem very happy about that idea, while Emmi was a little concerned at first, but relaxed about it now.  On the weekend they will get introduced to the outside puppy run - a big deal indeed!

Of course, it is also time for their weekly photo shoot.  Unfortunately my prediction was right, and my intent to take outside photos thwarted by rain. Or at least rain that kept starting, stopping, starting, stopping, thunder clouds making it too dark to get decent exposure, then a brief period of light - a bit of a nightmare really and well beyond my photo taking capability!  So these aren't the best photos, and hopefully we will get some decent playing shots outside over the next week to make up for them!
